Weltklasse Zürich Golden League on CBC this weekend

OTTAWA - The Weltklasse Zürich, part of the International Association of Athletics Federation (IAAF) Golden League, takes place tomorrow in Zürich, Switzerland. Stay tuned to CBC and CBCSports.ca for coverage of the event throughout the weekend.

Athletes to Watch for:

• Silver medalist just last week in the 100m hurdles at the World Championships, Priscilla Lopes-Schliep of Whitby, ON will line up against the world's top hurdlers again. She will be joined by Pickering's Perdita Felicien who was also a finalist at the 2009 World Championships. This will be the 12th time this season these two battle it out to the finish line.
  
• 800-metre runner Gary Reed of Victoria, BC finished fourth in his semi final at the World Championships in Athletics and will be on the World stage again in Zürich.
  
• Diane Roy of Hatley, QC will be racing in the 2600m T54 event. This is a mixed event where the men race 3000m and women 2600m.
